1. Data controller
FOCUS TL – Transform Lab, Abidjan (Côte d'Ivoire), publisher of Maieutik. Contact: sales@maieutik.net. Processing complies with Ivorian Law No. 2013-450 of 19 June 2013 on the protection of personal data, under the supervision of ARTCI (Côte d'Ivoire's telecommunications/ICT regulator).
2. Roles
For coaches' account and billing data, FOCUS TL acts as data controller. For client data that the coach enters or collects (sessions, notes, contracts), the coach is the controller and FOCUS TL acts on their behalf as processor.
3. Data processed
Identification and contact data, account data, professional data (qualifications, practice hours), session and follow-up data entered by the coach, billing and payment data (processed by Paiement Pro; we do not store card numbers), technical connection data.
4. Purposes and legal bases
Providing the service and performing the contract; billing and legal obligations; platform security; service improvement; account-related communications. Session recording and transcription rely on the prior, timestamped consent of the people concerned.
5. Recipients
Authorised FOCUS TL staff, our technical providers (hosting, payment, messaging and email, AI processing) within the limits of their tasks, and people you invite (sponsor, mentor, legal representative…). No data is sold.
6. Transfers outside Côte d'Ivoire
Some providers may host or process data outside Côte d'Ivoire. These transfers are framed in accordance with Law No. 2013-450 and, where applicable, the formalities required by ARTCI. Main providers: Base44 / Wix.com Ltd. (application hosting, Israel and cloud infrastructure), Paiement Pro (payments, Côte d'Ivoire), AI and transcription providers enabled by the administration, Meta / WhatsApp (notifications).
7. Retention
Data is kept for the lifetime of the account, then archived for as long as legal obligations (notably accounting) require before deletion or anonymisation. [Exact periods to be completed.]
8. Your rights
You have the rights of access, rectification, objection and deletion provided by Law No. 2013-450. To exercise them: sales@maieutik.net. You may also contact ARTCI. A coach's clients may address their request to their coach or to us.
9. Security
Authenticated access, role-based separation of spaces, consent logging and encrypted connections. As no system is infallible, please report any anomaly.
10. Minors
Coaching a minor requires the consent of their legal representative, collected through the platform.
