1. Purpose
These terms of use govern access to and use of the Maieutik platform, available at maieutik.net and published by FOCUS TL – Transform Lab (Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire). Maieutik is online software for professional coaches, their clients and other coaching stakeholders (sponsors, mentors, schools, legal representatives, therapists).
2. Acceptance
Creating an account or using the platform means you accept these terms. If you use Maieutik on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.
3. Account and access
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your credentials confidential. Any use of your account is deemed to be made by you. Report any unauthorised use without delay to sales@maieutik.net.
4. Plans, prices and payment
Plans, options and prices are shown on the Pricing page, excluding tax. The Discovery plan is free; a platform fee may apply to collected payments. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly and paid through our provider Paiement Pro (Mobile Money or card). Unless stated otherwise, a subscription can be cancelled at any time, effective at the end of the current period.
5. Coach responsibilities
The coach remains solely responsible for their professional practice, their client relationships, compliance with applicable ethics (including the Global Code of Ethics), the lawfulness of the content they upload and obtaining the required consents, especially for session recording and transcription.
6. Artificial intelligence features
AI-generated summaries, transcripts and suggestions are practice aids. They must be reviewed and validated by the coach before any use. FOCUS TL does not guarantee their accuracy.
7. Availability
We use reasonable means to keep the platform available, without guaranteeing uninterrupted service. Interruptions may occur for maintenance or reasons beyond our control.
8. Intellectual property
The platform, its brand, content and tools belong to FOCUS TL or its partners. You keep ownership of the data and content you upload and grant us the right to process them to provide the service.
9. Personal data
The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy policy.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account in case of serious breach of these terms, after prior notice except in emergencies. You may close your account at any time.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by Ivorian law. Failing an amicable settlement, any dispute falls under the competent courts of Abidjan, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules.
